The Hub is open — you don't need to wait for it
If you landed on this page before today, you were told the Larne Dog Walking Community Hub was coming soon, and asked to put your name down for early access.
That's out of date, and if you've been sitting waiting on an invite, our apologies — you've been waiting for something that already exists.
The Hub is live. It's free to join. And you can be inside it in the next two minutes at hub.larnedogwalking.co.uk.
What it actually is
It's a private space online for dog owners in Larne and the surrounding area — a feed, channels, photos, messages and a members list, all in one place, away from the noise of the usual social platforms.
We built our own rather than start another Facebook group for a simple reason: a Facebook group belongs to Facebook. Posts get buried, the algorithm decides who sees the meet-up you announced, and everything you've shared about your dog sits in a feed alongside adverts. The Hub belongs to the people in it. Nothing gets buried, and nothing is sold to you.
What's inside if you're a local dog owner
You don't need to be a client. Anyone local with a dog is welcome, free.
- The community feed — local owners talking about local dogs. Which paths are quiet at 8am, whose spaniel is terrified of the bin lorry, who's found the good stick.
- Free meet-ups — our get-togethers for local owners and their dogs are announced in the Hub first. Bring your dog, meet the pack, let them make a friend or two.
- Training tips — short, practical, written for real dogs and real front doors, not for a textbook. Loose lead, recall, the doorbell, the lot.
- Early invites to events and pup socials, before they go anywhere else.
- The Learn section — our guides and resources, which live in the Hub permanently rather than in a download link that expires.
If your dog already walks with us
You're welcome in the same as everyone else, and it's free — it comes with being a client.
One thing that doesn't change: your dog's walk updates and photos still come to you directly from their dedicated walker, exactly the way they do now. Same person, same walk update after every session — what today's focus was, how your dog was, what's coming along. That's Larne Structured Walks™, and it stays exactly where it is.
The Hub is the bit around it. The other owners on your street. The meet-ups. The events. The guides. And it's the easiest place to catch us with a question — you'll get an answer from someone who actually walks dogs in Larne, often about the exact stretch of pavement you're standing on.
How to join
- Go to hub.larnedogwalking.co.uk.
- Sign up with your name and email. If you're already a client, use the same email address we have on file for you, so we know who you are when you arrive.
- Say hello in the feed and tell us about your dog. Name, breed, age, and the one thing they're brilliant at.
That's it. No waiting list, no approval queue, no early-access tier.
Three things worth doing in your first week
- Introduce your dog. It's a small community and people genuinely read it.
- Check the meet-ups. The next one will be posted in the Hub before anywhere else.
- Ask the question you've been meaning to ask. Pulling on the lead, barking at the window, the dog who won't settle in the evening — someone local has been through it, and so have we.
If you get stuck
If you can't get in, drop us a line at contact@larnedogwalking.co.uk and we'll sort it the same day.
We'd love to have you in. Larne has a lot of good dogs in it, and most of their owners have never met.
hub.larnedogwalking.co.uk — come on in.
